Set
the Day in Order
The
following prayer was given to Pastor Bates by the inspiration of the Holy
Spirit for the congregation of Community Pentecostal Church. Pastor
Bates wants to share this with all of the website viewers as well.
CPC and our Bridge Builder partners have already been praying this prayer
and have given praise reports of how their faith has been encouraged.
Print this prayer off and start your day right by lifting your faith in
Jesus Christ.
Heavenly
Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus.
I come boldly to the throne of grace, forgiven of my sins and
cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus.
I thank You because You have made us to be kings and priests unto
God (Rev. 1:6).As a priest of God:
1)
I am here to minister (to serve) to You, Lord in worship and
praise.
2)
I am here to minister (to serve) to others.
As a king, in the realm of the Spirit, I am here to execute (enforce) the
will of God on the earth.
Kingdom
of
God
come, will of God be done in earth, as it is in Heaven.
Satan,
all of the military strategies that your principalities, powers, rulers of
darkness, and wicked spirits have planned, last night in the darkness, to
push back the
kingdom
of
God
, I cast out.
In
the name of Jesus, demons you must submit to the word of faith that is in
my mouth. Angels that excel
in strength, hearken unto the word of God that is in my mouth.
Be dispatched! Go
forth! Totally demolish all
of the strategic evil the adversary has set to rob our harvest.
I set this day “in order” as an ambassador of the Lord Jesus
Christ: my health,
prosperity, success, ministry, finances, home, family, praise, worship,
those in authority, (etc.). Holy
Spirit, work in me today. Lord
Jesus I give unto You the kingdom, the power, and the glory for ever and
ever. Amen

Set the Day in Order-Pastor's Comments
When my wife and I were newly married, we moved into
our first home. It was a
split-level design with a partial basement we used for a family room.
The design of the home created four different levels with six steps
in between each level. The
lowest level had no access to natural light and the top level was
surrounded with natural light. When
Tara
began to decorate our new home, she had created a unique wall design on
each level that included a mirror. Due
to the fact that the pastoral profession is always in the public eye, I
always wanted to make sure I looked my best before I left the house.
I know some of you had to chuckle a little with that statement
because you’re probably thinking it could possibly be a touch of vanity
instead of professional responsibility. Either way, I always checked out
all four mirrors before I left the house.
At the lower level, I always felt confident that everything about
my appearance was in my opinion, “Wow! Super cool and double groovy.”
However, when I reached the top level and looked into the mirror
with all of the natural light combined with huge light bulbs above the
bathroom mirror, I felt extremely disappointed.
The mirror seemed to exaggerate every defect, flaw, and undesired
trait. I remember looking in
the mirror and saying, “I don’t receive this.
I’m going downstairs to get a better opinion.”
The mirrors were exactly the same.
The difference was the light.
The Bible tells us that we all look into the perfect law of liberty
and are changed into the image of Christ.
God’s grace is so awesome! He
only turns on the light as we receive the grace to change.
God’s grace takes us from glory to glory.
Just about the time we become satisfied in our Christian walk, the
Holy Spirit brightens the light and we realize how desperately we depend
on His power to become the Sons of God.
Recently, God brightened the light again on my devotional time with Him.
He brought to my attention that many believers were actively
attentive to their position as spiritual priests:
responsibility ministering unto God with their vertical
relationship and horizontally ministering unto others.
On the other hand, He revealed to me that most of the family of God
was slack concerning their kingly position in executing the will of God.
The Lord then directed me with a special prayer to help the body of
Christ take their rightful positions as kings, enforcing the will of God
every morning by “Setting the Day in Order.”
He revealed, that while I was asleep, restoring my physical body
with rest, that Satan and his demonic forces were strategizing a plan to
thwart the will of God and rob this end-time harvest.
Just as nothing in a kingdom is active until the king sets the day
in order, we are responsible to set the
kingdom
of
God
in order everyday.
See the prayer above and everyone please join with
me. Thousands across the
nation and world are setting the day in order, every morning.
We Love You,
Pastor Tommy Bates
